Hennessey is comically bad, almost as though he tries to be.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

not if you dont understand football. Yeah I don’t understand how a man that’s 6ft 5, 8 foot with his hands above his head , can be 2ft away from a free kick , that he’s set a wall and lined up for.

You have to question a 6ft 5" Welshman who plays football and not Rugby. He's an embarassment.

I seem o remember Guaita dropping the ball into his own net a few games ago to gift Sheff Utd the points. Where were all you comedians then? Reknapp at half-time said WH was in a good position for the free-kick. I really cannot see that VG would have saved any of them.

He was poor tonight, no presence, some terrible mistakes (poor punch from a corner and terrible header to Salah that should’ve been buried). And some terrible positioning making Liverpool look likely to score from virtually any attempt. Found terribly wanting tonight Edited by Phil’s Barber (24 Jun 2020 10.19pm)

The half time pundits described it as “impossible to save”. He made a poor punch but otherwise did little wrong. Not at fault for any of the goals. There’s not many Premier League teams who have the luxury of a 1st choice international keeper on the bench. He’s not on the same level as VC, but he’s a solid back up. We could do far worse.

Found terribly wanting tonight Edited by Phil’s Barber (24 Jun 2020 10.19pm) I'm genuinely not gonna dig Hennessey out for tonight but your point I've highlighted has always summed it up for me for a few years now... For such a physically big guy he has virtually no presence about him... He is quite weak and I've always found him a bit hesitant in his decision making especially in one on one situations when in reality, due to his size he should be smashing players left right and centre... Unfortunately he will always be like that because you can't train natural aggression.. You either have it or you don't.. But Liverpool scored some unbelievable goals tonight that no keeper could of done anything about..
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

Hennesey was poor tonight, but so was the rest of the team. We've been great on all the details in recent games, but tonight we got all the basics wrong. Reminded me of our away performance at spurs. Also where was Scott Dann?
