Also, Wilfs fee would probably pay for, McNeil, Tarkowski, and Dyche, its called reality. Should we sell Wilf we are not going to get even close the kind of money bandied about pre Covid

I think Newcastle may stump up a few bob if Wilf wants to go to the toons, big wages as well, could be a marquee signing for the new owner

Cannot in my widest dreams see Wilf going to Newcastle, why the hell would he want to go there, PSG, are nearer to London, plus loads more teams, no way

I would imagine like everyone Wilf will be re thinking his future plans.Big fees and wages are going to decrease. Before this virus don't think most of us or Wilf would have considered Newcastle as an option for him ,but if they stump up the cash , I think he would be very interested now,and you couldn't blame him to leave after this. And in the clubs interest as well.

More a chance of Eddie Howe being future manager of Palace perhaps if Bournemouth suffer from the drop to Championship?

I wasn't aware that PSG are interested? As far as I can tell in the last year Arsenal were the only club and they were not prepared to support their own manager. This is the issue that Wilf has, he wants to leave for a bigger club but they are not queuing up to sign him. Newcastle makes sense if the get Poch a good manager and new owners with lots of money..

A delegation from PSG visited London about a year ago to discuss Zaha with Palace. No bid was made at the time.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |
