Given that Brighton's home form over the last eight games is this...

Scroll down to "Form: Last 8 matches (AT HOME)"

You'd think they'd shut the f*** up!!!

To be expected if we were down there I'm sure we would also be arguing for no relegation.

14 is the magic number for the PL to make any changes if the bottom six oppose it only takes 1 more club to side with them. My guess is whatever they decide will not be for the sake of the game but the path of least resistance and self interest.

Right now I suspect that abandoning the season but awarding Liverpool the title will be the one that gets the most votes although not by me. Personally I would complete the season on the basis if you can't do that why would starting the new season be any different.

Failing that i would abandon all results and let the Scousers cry.

To me it seems like a long-winded way of stating the obvious; the PL should try and finish the remaining fixtures, behind closed doors, if it's safe to do so. He could have said that in a sentence or two.

Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing!

All a bit of a mess.

Seems like they have good ideas and are trying to be organised in making sure this can work with full cooperation and planning from everyone but if the teams cannot decide how to finish the season then what is the point ?

Surely you have to have a proper league programme otherwise it turns into a bunch of friendlies ?

I certainly don't think playing at home would give us an advantage TBH!

Did notice Brighton had:

MC
Man U
Liverpool
Arsenal

Left to play so maybe they just aren't confident of staying up?!

Welcome back Superhorn3. I hope you are keeping safe. Think you are correct about Brighton but also have include all 6 teams who are voting for no relegation. I agree there will be no point in continuing the season if relegation will be non-existent. I understand why those clubs are trying it on but not giving any thought to integrity of PL or football in general. No way will they want to increase number of teams next season and have 6 relegated, as Brighton have suggested

Well if it was increased to 6 getting relegated be even more chance of us and and Brighton going down surely?!

I know we would be in trouble with our current squad and likely lack of transfers.

Rather take the chance now - we'd probably be stuffed with Chejsea / Man City and Arsenal to play but never know.

I am well thanks - keeping healthy watching old WFC matches and Netflix plus doing a lot of quizzes - some badly some ok ( mainly sport ones !)

Hope you guys keep well!

Rather than abandon the season, i would rather a few players from each team take it to penalties at home clubs ground, two outfield, two goalies, ref and a doctor would suffice with the groundsman opening up, they could tape it and have a two hour match of the day that night,,,,,,,simples

No revenue, simply. Loads of legal problems.

I agree with Croydon Proud. Genuine question what would the legal problems be, if they finish the already started season? They were going to muck around with the fixtures to accommodate the Qatar World Cup anyway

Suggested by Paul Barber of Brighton. Have you watched the re-runs of play off final and FA Cup semi 2016? (sorry uncalled for)

No relegation - no point in playing.
If the bottom 6 scupper it then they should all start next season with 10 points defecit.
Personally I would stop the season now and send the current bottom three down and so on.
It will be interesting to listen to the many howls of indignation!
