Some players are finding throw in's an issue at the moment...getting corners right would be a miracle! We don't have a technically gifted side. Athletes yes. Gifted no.

Interesting article from the Telegraph from a couple of years ago. Explaining the demise of scoring from corners and indeed the inefficiency of crosses generally, especially at Premier League level with well drilled defences. Also claims you are statistically more likely to score from a short corner.

This is the same percentage I read on a website a while ago - that probably why I never get excited when we get one Originally posted by beak
I believe that 4% (one in twenty -five) of corners results In a goal,clearly we are under quota.
