I saw him in Sainsbury's car park. And he had some candy canes with him.

And some Harry Kanes.

Great idea! Perhaps we can get Bale in January to sort out our lack of goals. And whilst we're at it make a cheeky bid for Salah ...

Your thoughts?

It’s hogwash like this as to why I don’t come on these boards that much anymore. Stick to Championship Manager.

On the subject of managers, our erstwhile coach has been appointed manager of Bristol Rovers. It is not often that a new manager is appointed with a club in 4th place and very much in the promotion race.

Our second-best manager of all time (after Coppell) came here as a player near the end of his career, was then recruited to act as assistant to a much older and more experienced manager, and eventually took over the reigns and led the club through a very successful period in its history.
I refer, of course, to El Tel, recruited from Chelsea by Big Mal.
I wonder whether, say, Gary Cahill has any thoughts about pursuing a future managerial career?

There's always Warnock and he's funnier than Poch. Merry Christmas.
