The Cahill/Sakho pairing was a disaster against Spurs. Cahill and Kelly seem to have such a good understanding - why change it? Sometimes with centrebacks, it's more about the right partnership rather than the best two players. Originally posted by EddieMac
I feel sorry for Kelly as he has done nothing wrong but as soon as Sakho and Tomkins are back fit he will be back to the bench. Cahill and Tomkins would be my first choice pairing but Roy will go with Cahill and Sakho because of Mamas left foot.

Cahill at the top but glad we have the others as we must not forget he is 34 and will need to be rested at some stage
