ironically pushed him back into the path of the ref... haha

he is like a damo with added ability & honours...that big club & country experience glows out of him.

Great interview with him on Palace TV. I wasn't ecstatic when we were in for him but I got that completely wrong. He strikes you as a brilliant player and pro to have in an around the team. It'd be great time to invest in a young CB to learn alongside him. Especially with Dann and possibly Sakho leaving before next season. Getting Nathan Ferguson in from WBA would be perfect. Would be good to have him in the coaching set up once he does hang up his boots... but sounds like he's not considering that for a while.
