Yes but there are plenty of people that would so you're missing the point If everyone valued good service and were prepared to pay extra for the greater good we would have such problem The point that you think they're subsidised, when they aren't? If people want to pay for bad service that's up to them but I'd personally love nothing more than to see the company collapse. Trouble is that O'Leary will still be rich from it and the employees, shareholders and creditors would get dicked. There were even morons at the airport, who'd just had their holiday plans ruined, saying I'd still fly with them anyway. Intimating that O'Leary was a champion of the less wealth off, rather than being the one getting rich off of them.

I'm fortunate enough to have several overseas holidays a year and this year flew with Monarch, Jet2, Easyjet and Ryanair and can't say that there was much difference between any of them in terms of service Because they're all crap airlines? Never flown Jet2 but the rest certainly are. I'll only fly Easyjet if someone else is paying for it and there's no alternative option.

I quite like Easyjet, only ever had one problem out of probably a dozen flights, they diverted from Gatwick to Stanstead (not their fault) and literally abandoned us in the terminal in the middle of the night. I'm flying with them tomorrow morning so I've probably cursed myself now.

That's exactly how I feel, I'd rather pay an extra £100-200 to avoid flying with them, to be honest I'd rather not go than fly with them. One of two airlines I refuse to fly with, the other is Monarch. Oh I've got quite a few. Thankfully some of them did go bust.

They told us that we'd have to fly the day after instead and you would only be compensated if you went on a coach to the hotel they would provide overnight, which was in Heathrow. I live 15 mins from Gatwick.

I have flown with Easyjet twice and on both occasions the flights were late but there again they were cheap. I have just booked again with Easyjet to fly to Spain for the February half term. Monarch and Jet2 wanted £600 for three flights from Birmingham and East Midlands (bearing in mind they are my local airports) but Easyjet charged me £303 for three flights from Gatwick so it was a no brainer. Similarly I have just booked flights to Lanzarote from East Midlands for next Easter. Jet2 and Monarch both wanted about £1,300 for three flights whilst Ryanair wanted £950 so again it was and brainer. We have flown Ryanair to Lanzarote for the last three Easters and have never had a problem

I wouldn't touch Ryanair with a barge pole myself....I don't know much about Easyjet.

Went on a 2p return flight to Carcassone with them when they first appeared. They were good back then though still felt a bit ripped off.

Will fly with any airline going to the destination I'm going to from the easiest airport accessible to me. Going Bournemouth Alicante next month with Ryanair. If I refused to use every company that gave a sh*t service there would be no companies left for me to use.

My we are a spoilt bunch these days. I remember the days when only the well-off could afford to fly and the rest had to make do with Green Country Buses with bi-fold doors for a bit of exotica.

Personally I haven't flown with Ryanair, but know many people who have, and not one had a good word. But you get what you pay for in the end,I am flying with them on Sunday (need some sun). It will be my third one this year.... benefits of giving up the fags.
