Meh......I don't see anything special. He still can prove himself though, just don't feel like he has yet. The team could have played just as well with anyone there instead of Milivojevic. Yes, you could argue that since he arrived the result have gotten better. But I think that's because of other factors: the team finally playing with a left footed leftback (PVA or Schlupp), Townsend and Zaha playing on the right sides, Cabaye and Puncheon doing a lot of pressing..... Milivojevic is highly rated by many of you, but let's just give him a full season before we make an ultimate judgement. Same thing with Sakho, please don't argue to spend 20 million+ on him just based on 10 matches. What the f*** are you on about?
Employee of the month is a good example of how someone can be both a winner and a loser at the same time. |

His anticipation and tackling ability means he owns the space in front of the defence and - unlike Jedi - can pass. If you haven't seen his quality, then you're not watching properly.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Luka Milivojevic ' by Penge Eagle A new signing has seemlessly fitted in to the first team and has obviously contributed to all of our recent clean sheets and huge results. And yet a so called fans doesn't want us to lavish praise on him as seemingly anyone could do his job. He's shone in every game he's played and yet we're meant to wait until what? Midway through next season until we can claim he's a success? Utter rubbish...

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Luka Milivojevic ' by Penge Eagle I think he has played very well, I don't think we have got anyone else in the squad who could do as well in that position (because none of them are specialist holding midfielders) and he does look like a very good signing. That said, I also agree with the general point mattteo is making. We build people up (and knock them down) far too quickly. Milivojevic needs to perform to at least his current level (if not higher) for a prolonged period of time to prove himself. Our support should always be given, our praise earned over time. The same is true of all players.

The same is true of all players. Sorry but a win over both Chelsea and Arsenal in the space of a week earns them all praise. Especially the new ones. I'd really hate to have either you two as bosses... smashed the arsenal and yet we can't praise the players who haven't been here long term. Jokers

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Luka Milivojevic ' by Penge Eagle Mattteo is either a troll or knows f*ck all about football. I mean he would prefer Mbemba to Sakho and supposedly knows for a fact how much every CB he plays with on football manager costs. Luka has been outstanding and has allowed Punch and Yohan to have more freedom and thus give more ammo to the front 3. He covers an average of about 12 km a game and is seemingly everywhere. He is Jedi with more mobility and better on the ball.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Luka Milivojevic ' by Penge Eagle He's a fantastic signing who would get in to any squad in the Premiership, we're lucky Sam signed him and Parish took the punt. And yes he deserves an awful lot of praise ! That doesn't mean the lad won't have a bad game or that he won't go on a bad run and likely get dogs abuse for it. But he's not put a foot wrong although has put his boot in. Don't praise him yet as if he hasn't earned it yet. Really...?
