Wonder how much would cost to bring in Rafa and bring back Gayle... Well Rafa didn't actually keep Newcastle up, and last time Gayle was here over three seasons and four / five managers he failed to impress. Gayle is great if you can afford to play 2 up front, but attacking wise that's not really an option for us - as we'd need to play McArthur, Cabaye and Ledley with either Puncheon, Ledley or Zaha. We'd be surrendering our best attacking advantage in the two wingers and Puncheon.

Can we just bring in Big Sam for a little while until we're defensively a bit better, then give the job back to Pards? a Big Salan Pallardew if you will I always Thought there are few managers out there which are the whole package, and that the most successful managerial stints come just after they have taken over from someone else (i.e. G.Graham-->Wenger). so lets have a 1/2 season job share. what could go wrong? don't answer That Edited by CrazyBadger (21 Nov 2016 3.52pm)

Rafa for me. Have watched Newcastle a few times this season and He is a brilliant tactician. He knows how to set his team up and if things dont work he will chane things very quickly. AP tends to watch us play s***e because of our formation for 45 minutes then change something.

Fantastic manager under contract to Newcastle, who are extremely unlikely to release him,in the light of what he is achieving currently and what he will achieve next season in the Premiership.

I am just gobsmacked that Eddie Howe and Big Sam can be compared in one post.....? what on earth is the similarity between them? One is all about the direct route, long balls to a strong center forward (to be fair probably most suited to our current squad), the other is all about playing neat, controlled possession football. Shot down you should be, my goodness....!!! Lets invest 30 odd million in a center forward then try a boy scout appointment as a manager. Solksjaer knew English football too, ask the Cardiff fans how that little experiment went.... Originally posted by geoff
Ok here we go and i am prepared to be shot down for this....BUT if Pardew goes for me i would like to see either Gary Neville or Ryan Giggs.
