Thanks to your suggestions we had an amazing trip: Rijks Museum - Lovely building filled with great artwork. It's vast though and my 2 hour attention span kicked in before we saw it all. Van Gogh Museum - loved it! Laid out really well so it gives a timeline of his work and state of mind plus excerpts from letters to and from his brother. A must. Anne Frank Huis. Maybe the 1 hour queue dampened my enthusiasm but was expecting a little more atmosphere. It's well done, quite moving and worth a visit but a little rushed as you're just part of a mazy queue through it. Canal Lovers cruise - great 1 hour cruise with interesting commentary and lovely sights. We even rammed a couple of sightseers in a row boat which added to the experience! Cassa Rosso - Live Show - more fun than arousing - maybe I should seek some advice from Pele. 'Actresses' and 'actors' very mechanical - expensive for what it is. 420 Coffee shop - I found all of these places quite seedy and full of undesirable looking student types. I was recommended the Lemon Spacecake and told a quarter would give me a buzz. It didn't. I ate 3/4 of it and still nothing. I think, on reflection it may have been Mr Kiplings. Sea Palace - great recommendation. Mrs Pikey was raving about it. Lovely food. Febo - nice chips. Wasn't drunk or high enough to try the manky looking burgers and sausages behind the glass. Sex Museum - very amusing half hour. A lot of photos of some VERY hairy growlers! Overall loved it - and would go back next week if I could. Very lovely people - so helpful. Thanks to you all for the tips.
