And why call for this one to be blocked off when a person died there a month ago, when several people died at other beaches just last week? 25,000 people go there on a busy day, what about all of the businesses that rely on that trade? What about all the tourists that have gone there to have a holiday or day out too?

I can never understand why I'm still allowed to drive given how many people die on the roads. Life can be risky. Yes, this event is very sad. Yes, lessons can probably be learned and information given on signs etc - though I dare say most people would ignore them anyway, but why on earth would you close the beach?
