The BBC should be impartial. It is not there to tell us how to think.

It can't be impartial on everything it reports. Would you have liked them to have put the ISIS view across about why they attacked and murdered so many in the Bataclan straight after interviewing the bereaved and survivors?

No? Why not?

It's not really a surprise when the BBC's journalists are mostly left wing.

But do people in the UK really know what a piece of work Hillary is? And that half of her party hate her? Bernie Sanders should have got the nomination but her cronies rigged the system against him.

You are comparing apples and oranges.

If Trump were murdering people and stating that he wished to rule over them as a hard line theocracy then you might have a point.

Trump however is a democracy elected representative that is not the same as a murderous religious cult.

If it's politically biased you should complain about it.

Now I am based in the US with a more balanced view of both Trump and Clinton, by seeing US media and speaking to lots of different people, I can definitely agree with you.

Trump is not PC, but for the BBC to ONLY report his eccentric soundbytes and paints a distorted view to those in the UK. Of course, he does say some wacky things and I don't agree with much of what he says.

However, Hilary Clinton is not the answer for America and has said much of what Trump has about Mexico in the past. She lies has been shown to be very dodgy... Yet does the BBC get this message across?

It seems the BBC is more interested in people clicking on their Trump videos as it gets more hits. But they're supposed to be a public service provider.

How about this BBC publishing a video like this? [Link]

In this case there is no need to be impartial. But in most others definately

You don't think old Clinton uses fear mongering and nonsense rhetoric? And while I don't detect narcissism (though hardly that important) I don't recall many on the left complaining about her husband's stunningly high opinion of himself.

Trump is a nightmare, but i think he will win. Not because the majority want him to, but come voting day alot of people who are not in love with either candidate will stay away, and that will leave the hardcore trump supporters to drum up the votes for him to win.

Trump will win, and then because both parties hate him so, he will be the first president to be successfully impeached and convicted.

Then Michelle will run and win hands down against Teddy Cruz.

You read it here.

So you agree then that the BBC doesn't always have to be impartial.

But you want it to be when you think it should be.

That's a bit bias of you.

Are most BBC journalists 'lefties' though? I think you are doing a decent job at attempted impartiality when the hard right moan you're biased and so do the left - note the complaints from Corbyn and co. If the BBC were a bunch of commies as some here seem to think, Corbyn would be getting MUCH better coverage!

Wow.

There is a limit to everything...free speech for example. You create an extreme and ridiculous example and then say that proves your point. It doesn't.
