That would be a better measure of the nature of the people in the area. Edited by johnfirewall (25 Jan 2016 10.49pm) I may be wrong but I suspect that if there was an Easter parade, or something similar, it wouldn't have been a problem. It's a very clever tactic. Go in and wind people up, start the video and try to look all innocent whilst the others are going mental.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

I had watched the video. What I'm saying is, had it not been Britain First, would they have reacted in the same way ? When a group who publicly state that they think your people are scumbags turn up on your doorstep, you're going to have a pop at them aren't you. Yeah, totes. Just like the "dirty gays" that dare to walk the streets. It's but a short skip, hop and jump from "having a pop" to throwing people off the top of buildings or setting them alight. But do keep wringing those hands of yours.

Religious parades like this incite violence.... look at the marching season in Norn Ireland and see the hatred, violence and destruction of property it creates. I wish we could go back in time and eradicate religion. It has done nothing but create division, suspicion, envy, violence and suffering. It's not even partially useful like the internet, which has some good features as well as it's darker side. Of all the religions that there are though, it is hard to think of one worse than Islam. It really is a backward oppressive ideology that treats women shamefully and is intolerant of others to the extent it's own "holy handbook" advocates death to the Infidel (or non-believer). Other religions have had their darker side in the past too, but most have moved on from the dark ages! Edited by Hoof Hearted (26 Jan 2016 11.58am)

Increasingly science and technology will override religious beliefs I believe, although that will take ages yet. Having some sort of comfort in higher being and an afterlife is appealing to a lot of people no matter how far-fetching and implausible it is to people like ourselves. Unfortunately with radical islam that comfort also involves being an absolute d*ckbag. Edited by DanH (26 Jan 2016 12.12pm)

I can imagine a lot of people have been given some hope and comfort believing in an afterlife amongst angels and virgins.....rather than facing the stark truth that we just die and our remains enrich the earth. However there's always someone trying to promote their particular brand of religion over all the others. Unfortunately instead of a 'discount' or 'two for the price of one' marketing strategy they go for beheading, stoning, burning etc as the penalty if you don't jive in with their lifestyles to the absolute letter. It seriously p1sses me off buddy!

Both as bad as each other, tensions are already high. Why can't we all just respect each other and build communities. I am sure and hopeful that the number of good, positive mulsims and such far out weigh the bad and the same for christians and others.

Which lot is it this time? Germanic, Nordic, Norman, Roman? Not that pesky tribe from across the wall again, is it? Edited by Kermit8 (26 Jan 2016 9.50pm)

Just looked at this. How anyone can take it seriously and not see what was being done is beyond me. If some twerps dressed up as Boy Scouts and came through Selhurst trying to wind people up - using every trick in the book and focusing on the nastiest irritants they could find - they would get get worse than this. It's just a set up to try to cause friction and divide the nation. Daesh in reverse. Some people benefit from splitting us into groups - divide and conquer and mobilise the thick to do your bidding. Its the ignorant vs the ignorant, portraying such groups as the norm. Neither represent any kind of British values.
