Has anyone considered the impact on the environment of cutting down more trees to make bigger coffins? I thought not. Mass graves, worked well across Europe during the late 30s and early 40s...

Nobody thought about giving out cards on the positive side of things: You have lovely blonde hair and have a great arse, your tits are amazing and you obviously work out and eat healthy food. Well done you.

Apart from perhaps a few genuine health issues ,to be overweight and obese is a lifestyle choice and can be avoided with sensible eating and a modest exercise routine.

Being called fat is also very subjective. I had a disagreement yesterday when I was discussing Nigella and her cookery show. The colleague I was talking to said Nigella was "very fat" and I completely disagreed.

Although very callous there has been an explosion of type 2 diabetes in this country mainly because of obesity which now accounts for 10% of the entire NHS budget. When you consider we can't afford medicine for most cancer patients you have to ask what is fair? I think I would rather adopt a European style system where you need some form of medical insurance and higher risk groups such as fat b******s would pay more But in the long run those who are overweight will die earlier, like smokers, drinkers etc, and avoid the hideous costs of rare and late life disorders that are really really expensive (old age care costs make diabeties look tame as costs). Plus of course their pension burden is much lower. So in truth, I'd say the opposite is true, healthy people with a long life expectancy really cost the NHS far more, than those with a unhealthy habits. The myth is that obesity can be combatted solely by exercise, if its a problem maybe we should look to dealing with the problem at the point of provision. Fast food and packaged foods, and their availability - Notably sugar, a central nervous stimulant that is incredibly addictive.
Hurrah for us!

My two points for the debate:
No one has ever called me "sugar tits".

Hurrah for us! I take it you fully support a sugar tax then?

Well done you. I think that's called sexual harassment and can land you being banned from public transport. I think the general rule of public transport is to not engage in positive or negative reinforcement of strangers based and to instead stare blankly as if your soul has been crushed by the terrible ennui of daily existence.

Hurrah for us! A much overlooked fact, is that these people are in fact heroes. Its why we should legalise drugs, we can't actually afford to maintain a long healthy life expectancy of citizens, without actually making a s**t load of money off those who have decided to take a faster route to the inevitable conclusion of life. Ironically, given the amount I've probably raised in terms of smoking and drinking, I'd likely have been in line for an OBE if I'd just handed over the cash to some charity.
