I have no problem with protests, if anything most of us are too apathetic. They should throw the book at anyone caught committing violent acts though.

The irony of the current civic unrest is that a police force that is getting royally f*cked up the arse by the ruling elite are the ones charged with protecting that same bunch of self serving c*nts .

If I was a copper I would be sorely tempted to join them

If I was a copper I would progressively work these demonstrators into a dark alley and beat the living s*** out of them.
Who the hell do this scum think they are? They are lucky to live in a democracy otherwise they would all disappear mysteriously over night.

Laughable thread responses.

One could sum it up by saying that the Tory's are in power and as usual the noisy minority are throwing their dummies out of the pram about it.

I know, I'll let me mum take the pit bull out for a change while I go rioting. That will be a laugh. Oh and then i'll spend me benefit money in the pub afterwards.

Tories / Labour it makes no difference what colour the rosette is

If you cant see how you as a member of the good old general public are being shafted, manipulated and wholly screwed over by this current crop of self serving imbeciles the make up of the people or whether they riot against 'them' or not is a pretty unimportant and moot point.

It doesn't detract how the 1%-ers of this country are treating us like utter c***s.

We should all be on the streets with torches heading for Westminster demanding real change from our political system and scare every single member of the political, ruling and judicial establishment witless..

This country doesn't need elections it needs a f***ing revolution

Of course it isn't. The world isn't fair and isn't ever going to be a level playing field however does that then mean we allow the abuses of government or meekly accept them.

Piece by piece successive governments have abused the trust and power given to them and legislated and legislated against the people they are there to serve.

They care about self and party and ensuring the political system that props them up remains unaltered and that's all. A system simply there to keep the cosy status quo for the corporate, political, ruling and judicial elite - a system which we pay for.

Meek acceptance of them and the system they perpetuate has lead us to were we are now.

So you agree with the paedophilia coverup and new snooping laws?

Also, it was a protest that took place in many cities around the world, so not influenced by the Tories being in power.

Edited by Rubin (08 Nov 2015 5.23pm)

How do you know there was a cover up ? Do you have new evidence ?
I don't like the new proposals about Internet surveillance but dressing up as Guy Fawkes in "V" style and damaging property is not the way forward. I don't believe that many of those people had a real political bone in their body anyway. They were there for some bovver.

people wonder why the old bill are sometimes t***ts when this is what they have to deal with.

There's plenty of info available online if you care to look for it, including people who have had to run off to south America to avoid being 'got'. Why would so many unconnected people fabricate these things?

It's a bit difficult to prove rape a day after it's happened, let alone 20 or 30 years later, so therefore it's fairly easy to coverup evidence other than dna etc. The way the public view of the whole thing was attempted to be changed by the media a couple of weeks ago was embarrassing, claiming that all the investigations had come to nothing. There's testimonies of police who were ordered to stop going further with investigations.

My generous guess would be about 5-10% of people were there to cause trouble. What about the genuine concerns of the other 90%?

Edited by Rubin (08 Nov 2015 9.33pm)

That old chestnut.......

Every time the Tories are in power we have violent demonstrations by the left that cannot bear the fact that they lost a General Election fairly and democratically...... and the same old "it's just a few mindless idiots" excuse for major disorder and violence towards police, horses and property is trotted out.

Which says more about the British voting public than anything else and the choices on offer

How many of those voted Conservative for the promise of no cuts in Working Family Tax Credit ?? How's that working out ?

Defeated in the Lords despite them flying in odious little c*nts like Lloyd-Webber to prop it up, all of a sudden there are moves to curtail the power of the second chamber and make it more difficult for it to block unpopular, spiteful and contentious bills.

I have no flag to wave for Labour or any mainstream parties either - they are all as bad as each other

Indeed there isn't.

No-one can convince me that blind, illogical, dogmatic partisan politics as a basis for government and way of determining the best for the people it purports to serve is fit for its purpose.
