..why was he allowing himself to be chased, with a six year old boy in the front next to him, more to the question.

Probably on drugs but still...

Cop dash cam video is supposedly one of the worst to watch for him ever according to one of the investigators.

..it would be knowing about the boy sat in the front, during the incident it would be different, a six year old boy strapped into a seat would be unnoticeable for anyone looking at vehicle height, I have to ask, was the boy placed there to asist in his escaping?

The father was unarmed. Why fire that many bullets in to a car when there is no gun present?

..if the chasing Police knew that while chasing, fair enough.

I don't think that makes sense.
Let's just go with your train of thought.... The police think he has a gun on him, so it's ok to fire at the car incase he pulls the gun? Police should only fire if there is a direct threat.... if there is no gun... how can they justify shooting if there is no gun present... and how the f*** do they put 5 bullets in a kid?

..OK, the police were after him armed and ready presumably because they knew from previous encounters he liked to have a gun present...and ready, if they did just randomly shoot him then yes, they are nuts ..and will be eating their own in jail.

..no gun present, means they found no gun after the incident.

If no gun was there, how do they justify opening fire with a volley of shots, they didn't even kill the perp... they had no reason to open fire, and worse than that, they had no idea who they were firing at. The Chief of Police said the bodycam footage is the worst he has ever seen.

..no sane Policeman would just open fire without any knowledge about the incident, there must be so much more to the story we don't know, surely they would also have previous cases where they have been a little bit trigger happy as well if they are guilty of just shooting for the fun of it.

Non white law enforcement murders white folks = heinous.

White law enforcement murders non white folks = regrettable, there may well be a good excuse for the copper.

No double standards in the US, no siree. The 2nd Amendment is an affront to civilization in this day and age, as is its hijacking for economic and political purposes.

For the record, murder carried out by any law enforcer on any civilian is heinous. There should be no difference in the reportage.

With 3d Printing evolving on daily basis, in a few more years guns will be just as common over here.

Good luck trying to stop it when downloading the rom to a 3d printed gun will be as easy as downloading an mp3 is today.

'Must be' is a very confident and forgiving assessment considering the increase in police brutality we're seeing nowadays stateside.

doesn't matter what the guy's history is - why are you chasing someone to serve a warrant? it's a warrant - not a guy wielding an axe.

here's another one. she just kills the guy and gets off.http://abc27.com/2015/11/05/jury-resumes-deliberations-at-police-officers-murder-trial/

to defend them, the gun maniacs are making it that police are more frightened than ever, leading to poor decisions. a 13 yo kid in cleveland got killed b/c he was playing with a fake gun in a park about a year or two ago.

but this country can't have a sane conversation about anything at this point, let alone gun control.

This is the crux of the matter: cops opening fire is now the default reaction to anything up to and including full compliance (see the PA cop who shot a guy that she was also in the process of tazing the f*** out of). And not just the ol' warning shot - the unload the entire clip and, on occasion, reload and keep going.

This is why so many innocent / unarmed people are getting shot. The cops do, literally, shoot first and ask questions later. If you get one that's amped up on adrenaline, caffeine or just his own ego, your life is in serious peril. I am scared of the cops in Houston, and I'm (relatively) affluent, middle-aged, unarmed and white.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.

Sharpton is a nasty piece of work.

“White folks was in the caves while we (blacks) was building empires. … We built pyramids before Donald Trump ever knew what architecture was. … We taught philosophy and astrology and mathematics before Socrates and them Greek homos ever got around to it.”

What empire is he referring to I wonder ? Not Egypt I hope. Unless he is claiming everyone with a sun tan as one of his own.
