The can't sing accusation is a bit ridiculous. You can argue alot of band's front men cannot sing. Liam Gallagher is a notable example. They are not polished crooners who would do a duet with Aretha Franklin. But they do have distinctive iconic voices which compliment the bands style and sets them apart. You wouldn't swap him for anyone else - it wouldn't work, if you put Michael Buble in it would sound awful
