As Morgan Freeman said, the only way to stop racism is to stop talking about it. Why confine black history to a month, we don't have white history month.

White history is just as important as black history and black footballers are just as good or just as bad as white footballers.

Skin colour doesn't effect how you play football so not sure why there is a list of the 10 best black players. To not be racist would be to say the 10 best players and include black players on the list on merit because of their footballing abilities.

...Please don't give me a second yellow :-)

Not sure why people are getting bothered by this - I for one enjoyed the article. It's nice to pay tribute to those players (many of whom would make an all-time top 10) and acknowledge the role that black players have made to our club throughout our history - particularly during our most successful periods.

Both Parish and Pardew have recently spoken about the fact that a large portion of our academy are black players and the need for the club to provide positive role models for the local community. It's an important part of our identity.
