Going to Argentina v Georgia on a Friday night at Gloucester. Don't expect the backs to see too much ball!

Eli Walker & Mike Phillips called up.

Not surprised that Hook hasn't been given the nod. Gatland just doesn't seem to like him.

Almost here:

I'm going for the 4 to make the semi-finals as:

England
Australia
Ireland
New Zealand

I hope I'm wrong and, if Wales can get out of the group, then I would go for them but it is a really big ask.

(I've not looked at the permutations so my 4 may not be possible).

New Zealand to win the competition.

I'm over from Switzerland for the All Blacks game V. Argentina at Wembley on Sunday, my plan was to go to Spuds Palace on the Saturday, but Sky did it again and moved the fixture to Sunday.

It's really getting hard to get to see us play the better teams as the fixtures keep getting moved about, and when you have to book planes etc..

Rant over, and I'm going off thread... New Zealand to win the cup I reckon unless we improve game by game and peak at the right time.

Glad

All

The All Blacks are like Germany, they will have to have an off day to lose. They are just to good.

Having said that I think we are more than capable of giving them a game (if we get that far) and if they have an off day who knows.

I would also say South Africa as a Dark horse.

For future reference never assume any game against someone in the Europa league will be on a Saturday. That it's on TV is a bonus as it would've been moved to Sunday regardless.

Optimistic as ever

Dark horse! They're second favourites for me.

I just hope we top our group to set up a SH clash in the quarters, which will dump out either Aus or their opposition.
