One thing that is apparent is that both the White Walkers and the Dragons returned at similar times (ice and fire). Also ice and fire, also refers to passion and cruelty, and most characters fall on one side of that scale more than others. One thing I am certain off, he should keep that dire wolf around a lot more. Bad things happen to Starks who don't keep their Dire Wolf nearby. Also its tricky as some of Season 7 was likely shot as part of Season 6, given the renewal was a given (similarly they were shooting parts of 6 during 5 I believe).

I think the show will go a different route to how the book will handle it, but did no one else find it funny that Red Mel showed up at the Wall? Far too convenient.
