And on another note, as much as I want to understand why young Brits want to fight for Isis I do believe the time has come for the world to unite and send troops on the ground to fight them.

I marched against the war in Iraq (a conflict that has directly given birth to Isis, well done Bush/Blair) but something needs to be done. All the world's super powers have been harmed by Islamic fundamentalism. If we put our differences aside and unite against these cnuts.

Firstly, I was there, and saw how Saddam was treating his people, any intervention and under any guise was a good thing.

Secondly Bollicks, The war in Iraq did not give birth either indirectly or directly to the nutters in ISIS.

ISIS are fanatical followers of Islam who believe whole heartedly it is there job to bring about the apocalypse.

How can you rationalise a group whose head spokesman comes out with comments like this.

In September last year, Sheikh Abu Muhammad al-Adnani, the Islamic State’s chief spokesman, called on Muslims in Western countries such as France and Canada to find an infidel and “smash his head with a rock,” poison him, run him over with a car, or “destroy his crops.” To Western ears, the biblical-sounding punishments—the stoning and crop destruction—juxtaposed strangely with his more modern-sounding call to vehicular homicide. (As if to show that he could terrorize by imagery alone, Adnani also referred to Secretary of State John Kerry as an “uncircumcised geezer.”)

Anyone who follows this barbaric lunacy does not deserve the gift of life in the human race. And I would gladly, and with light of heart remove them from it.

Maybe I'm hardened to the whole thing now, but when I saw the pictures of the four blokes lined up beside their 4x4 Toyotas about to head off to blow sh1t up, after my initial thought of "hope they didn't manage to take anyone with them" my overriding thought was one of "nice cars - what a waste"

Didn't catch the full interview but there was a lady in 5Live this morning who has made a documentary about radicalisation.

She made the point that contrary to what is said after the event, in her experience ALL the youngsters who had been radicalised had problems at home.

Surprised they didn't have their favorite terrorist apologist, Moazzam Begg, on to tell us how it was all our fault.

No he wasn't on. There was someone who used to recruit youngsters and referred to as the godfather of jihad or something similar. I didn't catch his name but he actually was quite sensible.

The lady who made the documentary is Muslim and between the two they addressed a lot of the issuess a lot of Muslims don't want to face.

Similar ones to those that don't know their children are about to commit suicide or are developing eating disorders perhaps?

Yep those are the ones, the ones who don't take an interest in thier kids day to day lives because it's to much hassle.

I'm a single dad with a demanding Job, I know just by looking at my kids if they even had someone take the piss in the play ground, it's not rocket science, it's just knowing your kids, and treating them as a blessing not a burden, or a way to get more benefits.

I do enjoy the line;

Dewsbury councillor Masood Ahmed said Talha Asmal, 17, was "no different" from other teenagers, and said people in the town were "devastated".

So arse achingly wide of the mark on two fronts

1. Yes he is different from other teenagers Masoos me old fruit - he went half way around the world for a cause rooted in dark age superstition, ignorance and hatred to deliberately take the lives of other human beings...I would like to think even though those teenage years are quite difficult what with pubes, spots and girls Britain's youth, Muslim or otherwise aren't hell bent on murder

2. Wrong again Masser - the 11 people plus their families in Baghdad are the ones who were 'devastated' not the good folk of Dewsbury.

Imam Farooq Yunus, of the Zakaria Mosque in Savile Town, where the boys attended religious school, said they had been let down by the system. He said: “I think we have failed. Not just the people in here – the whole system - the council, the police, the community. The society have failed these two children and somehow we should put things in place where if they do feel strongly, they know what to do. “The fault lies in the wider community where we are not engaging with them.”

This is what is called 'the narrative' these days. These young men attended a religious school, ie: Islamic school where they no doubt received guidance in how to live the life of a peace loving, tolerant and progressive Muslim. Yet it is apparently the fault of the council, the police and 'the wider community (ie: non-Muslims) that they became homicidal maniacs. Of course, when people such as the teachers, police and 'the wider community' try to stop Islamic indoctrination they are branded as Anti-Islam racists.

Meanwhile the wonderful concept of multi-culturalism carries on regardless, ensuring that the UK is split into a plethora of separate 'communities' which are largely closed to each other and which each have different and conflicting views of how we should live. These two terrorists came from a community which is devoted to an ideology which demands that all who are born into it cannot abandon it and must obey it and propagate it wherever they go, against this, the 'wider community' is an irrelevance.
