Slightly off kilter but in the same type of vein. Men in their 40s/50s who still wear earrings. Especially balding men with grey ponytails who still have that Status Quo type sleeper with a little gold cross.... NOT a good look in my book.

When ever I think that growing my hair again, in a mid life crisis stylie, is a good idea, I think of Peter Stringfellow and then get another trim on top with no2 at the sides.

In '67 I started growing my hair and except for three times when I've had it cut for work reasons, it's been between shoulder blade and buttock length. Really f*cks off my contemporaries....but I keep it long because it suits me ( I think) and because I like the ability to wear it differently whenever the urge takes me...including the despised pony tail.... and because I can, no 'Male Pattern Baldness' here!

I am going bald at a painfully fast rate, I also have Vitiligo & half of me is turning pure white whilst the rest goes a nice golden brown, its even reached one of my eyebrows so I now have a 50/50 split white/brown eyebrown. I look rediculous & I miss my hair
The mountains are calling & I must go. |
