Its still good, I haven't really bothered with it for years other than occasionally catching one on Sky. Its not the 'force' it used to be, but its never really become stale, like family guy and American dad did.

At its peak brilliant. It still has its good moments but the standard of writing is not a patch on what it once was .. too many wise-cracks, in-jokes and self parodying now.

Homer: Oh! I hate folding sheets.
Marge: That's your underwear.
Homer: Well whatever it is, it's a two-man job.

It's become lazy now. The narrative of virtually every episode is centred around either a guest star or parodying another show or film. The parodies are weaker than they used to be as well, an example being the Rear Window one where Bart breaks his leg, absolutely classic.
