I've heard an unsubstantiated rumour about a much loved celeb who's been batting off questions from Utree. Purely rumours so it's not worth divulging his name (or his two first names) suffice to say he's a national treasure. Who likes falling though bars, downing pina coladas and who's conviction would ruin UK Gold. Crikey DM! Can you give us another clue please?

Agreed - this thread is in poor taste. IMO Operation Yew Tree has many areas. 1) an almost endless supply of retired personalities to be interviewed - could almost go on for ever 2) It has encouraged historic events to be reported - very hard to defend against and potentially viewed by public as "no smoke without fire". 3) There is a greater awareness of grooming and child abuse - this gives protection to today's children , perhaps not available to earlier generations. Personally, I am not keen on say one in five formerly naughty people in their eighties being put away: my preference is for four in five (a good deterrent message) naughty people in their 20s 30s 40s and 50s receiving what they deserve.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Jimmy Cricket' by staffie Stu Francis played with kids' toys and even dressed his missus up in a schoolboy uniform for all the world to see. Wasn't Stu Francis. You're thinking of Janette Krankie (married to Ian) - but they were on Crackerjack, hosted by Stu Francis. Also self-confessed swingers Stu Francis should, however, be arrested for crimes against comedy - lowlights include: Ooh! I could crush a grape/I could pop a balloon/I could rip a tissue/I could jump off a doll's house/I could wrestle an action man/I could duff a daffodil/I could test drive a Tonka etc. Stu Francis and Noel Edmonds have done very well so far, I was sure that they were going to be in the second wave. A couple more high profile cases are want the police need now to get the focus off the politician child rapist cover ups.

We haven't had many female celebrity nonces yet, so I'm hoping for Sue Barker.

I know 2 women who, when still at school, were involved in theatrical stuff. Both independently reported being pawed and sleazed over by a certain magician. Frankly, I am amazed his name has yet to come up [save on this thread].
