Has now scored goals for fun in league1 and championship.

i know blackburn paid 8 million for him ,but with a 2nd season in championship i reckon we could get the lad for 5-6 million.. any thoughts? scores goals !!

I rate him highly and I suspect he would score goals in the Premiership.

However, 10 to 12 million just isn't realistic for our budget or indeed the budget of many Premiership clubs.

Blackburn are hedging upon a bigger club buying him...But at that price he's a big gamble for a player with no top level experience....So only a big club could afford that gamble...I feel that Rhodes made quite a poor choice in going to them and he could be stuck there....Without Rhodes Blackburn would have gone down, he's quite a dilemma for them....They need to sell, even with their Indian backers..... but he's their best asset.

With Zaha for example we did the same thing and priced him beyond the reach of most Premiership clubs in terms of risk.

Only four or five clubs were ever going to seriously look at him.

There are reports suggesting he is currently on 45k a week at Blackburn.. just how possible do you really think that is?

We should go for Charlie Austin,more realistic me tinks.

Or a cheaper option could be James Vaughan from Huddersfield?
