I actually think you're trolling Ukip supporters on here....But the reality is that the principles that Ukip campagined on has received a lot of support. Yes, the voting system is messed up and it's something that impacts both left and right. The Lib Dems f***ed themselves over by selling themselves short in the coalition with one of their 'prizes' being the AV referendum. What we got with that though was an absurd campaign hellbent on derailing it. I expect we'll be seeing something similar should there be an EU vote.

As with any competition, you can only play by whatever the rules are. In this case UKIP won nothing; they ended up with less than they had previously; end of. As with any competition, you can only play by whatever the rules are. In this case UKIP won nothing; they ended up with less than they had previously; end of.

If the system were different the Tories would've lost control years ago, but it isn't; them's the rules.

It's a success because of the number of votes for the principles that Ukip stand on.

The leader isn't that important. Farage appears to want a break anyway....Can't say I blame him...He had that plane crash and never really took a break. Politics isn't everything in life. I have little doubt that he will be back and will win the leadership election.

He's very popular on the 'real' right. And he would have been second choice for many Tory supporters......Still being popular also means he's hated by pro-EU supporters.
