Roy Hodgson is far more of a person than you could ever dream of being, yet you feel it is fine to mock him on the one thing that you have over him. How low can you get. Get a grip of yourself, you could not do what he does.

He cant do what he is meant to be doing.

I guarantee you woy cant do what I do

I swapped a W for an R. You made a lot of personal insults. You are a hypocrite.

Well we all know how rubbish we were today a mid table safe from relegation team playing a bottom three side and losing. Imagine being a Leicester supporter watching a team in pole position for a European Championship spot losing to a bottom three team !!

No point replying really, but here goes.

It doesn't matter what you can do, more what you are doing. Which is keeping the Premier League status. Job done. Three times. You could not do that. It matters not if Roy could do what you do, he is a football club manager. He has kept that position well past his required age of retirement. In other words, he is good at his job. You may not like the way he manages a team/squad, but he has more idea than you ever will. And because you don't like what he does, and can do little to change it, you resort to idiotic name calling tactics. How old are you ffs!?

And "hypocrite"? How? Do you know what it means?

Absolutely baffling that anyone wouldn't want us to reach the Europa League because it might harm our survival prospects. Doesn't seem to be doing Wolves too much harm!

If we're not aiming for Europe or winning a cup, something else which is often derided, then what exactly is the point of us being in this league?

If we're going to not only put a cap on what we can achieve but also what we want to achieve then relegate us now and then at least we might one day have the excitement of the playoffs again.

Going and watching Palace play in Seville, Rome, Athens or somewhere similar would be absolutely class and I don't get how anyone wouldn't want that.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

Is the season still going on ? , I gave up after the Burnley debacle and can’t even be bothered to watch when it’s live and free. The only saving graces are I don’t have to decide about St renewal yet and please god that’s the last we ever see of Benteke .

You were right. There was no point in your reply. You failed to make a single point the justified Woy's repeated use of failed tactics. Not sure how this is adding to the discussion about his fitness to remain in a job he is clearly failing in, week in, week out, without attempting any changes.

Please explain what is great about the idea of playing 3 defencive midfield players every week? I have no idea why anyone would do that. It seems as if Woy has also run out of ideas too.

I hope to be retired a long time before I reach his age.

A lot of good points made but I want to point out a few things for next year. I am assuming we will lose the remaining games.

1) with the truncated 2020 season there are limited gate receipts and TV money is far short of what it usually is. There's not going to be any spending binge for next year. What we have now is pretty much what we go into next year with. Although there will be a sizable number of players leaving there is unlikely to be any major acquisitions. At least no quality pick ups.
2) Roy is a nice man and good manager but he has one play style and that's all you get. Everyone has his number by now and because he is incapable of changing, if you play Palace, you play against his style and you will get a good result. We are now easy pickings.
3) Wilf, although still our best player, is no longer worth a huge transfer fee (see point 1, no one has a lot of money now). Unfortunately for him, he's probably not going anywhere, nor is the club getting big bucks for him.
4) If SP wanted to shift managers, who would come to this dumpster fire to take over? I'd be perfectly happy, given the way this year turned out, to just try to do the same thing next year that we did this year but I honestly can't see that happening. I'm not sure there is another rabbit in this hat.

I don't like being in this postion but it's kind of the way I see it. Now, fling all the poo you want at me. I'd be happy to be proven wrong.

Success will lie to you but failure always tells you the truth.

No poo flinging from me mate, because I think you're right. I don't see a way out for us bar the arrival of a fairy godmother/father waving a magic money wand, and that's not likely.

Our American investors do have a sticky problem mind you. Their investment will be worth considerably less when we drop into the Championship (although I'm sure they will have plans to use the parachute payments stateside rather than over here). It's a question of how much they're prepared to lose. It's just possible that they may want us to stay up enough to give the manager some money to spend. But then again, pigs might fly first.
