So will anyone finally admit it’s making a difference. The ground erupted today, much of the time in unison with The Holmesdale.

The players certainly appreciated it at the end.

It certainly is. For much of the game the crowd were silent but the HF kept going and as the second half went on more and more joined in and carried the team over the line.

Great. It felt that way to me but it’s hard to tell from inside the section. I was under the F in the bottom banner by the way, holding it up. Bloomin pain having a 7.30 kickoff. Gloucester Road was gridlocked.

I’m in block A , so it’s not as loud now the front of block B is quiet.
On the whole I don’t think we are any different to most other premier league clubs now, quiet when not much is going on and loud when we are doing well. The noise from the last 2 seasons in the championship and first couple in the top league must have been double what it is now.
Just a fact of reality unfortunately, I bet the promoted teams are where the noise is at the moment, but give them a couple of seasons and that will die off. The premier league brings many things but lazy supporters and lack of passion are 2 of them.
I remember when we got Villa away, midweek, in the cup (they were premier league), we were in the championship about 10 years ago, was mental, got up there really early and made a right day/night of it, I didn’t even go to Chelsea or Arsenal away this year. That’s the difference when your next away game is Preston/Bolton compared to Liverpool/Tottenham.
Not a moan, just a fact of life.

Where do the fans standing in the aisles on the ends of rows either side of E come from? Boot them in to D and F if they want to be involved where they can make some noise in the adjacent blocks so it actually spreads.

Mad that the people at the front of E don't make any noise. I know they probably resent the upheaval bit still.

Was sittting the far end of the main stand and the HF racket was decent, I tried my best to spread the noise but not much action down there.

It’s a shame the others around the section don’t join in, but it’s to be expected I guess. There will be a big reshuffle of seats when (if) the new stand opens and all the like minded singers will congregate in that area. That’s the time to look forward to

The near side did get going for a change though. There was a point all four stands were fair rocking

Even the main stand were joining in for a lot of the second half, that's an achievement in itself! I thought the "singing section" and the whole support was excellent for most of the game.

Watching the game back the commentators kept mentioning the crowd as well. Seems Selhurst is beginning to get back to its best, well done all.

Seemed like another great day for atmosphere today

The whole stadium got involved at times, should come across well on the telly.
