This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle So Everton put out feelers for a £35m bid + add ons which has been laughed off by Palace. A bidding war may start with more clubs interested than Jack Nicholas ever possessed. Should we cash in now and if so, what % are we due to pay Man U??

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Steve Parish has been quiet in all the Wilf speculation. Not exactly coming out and saying Wilf won't be going anywhere etc. Maybe negotiations going on behind the scenes, here's hoping.

Should we cash in now and if so, what % are we due to pay Man U?? He’s under contract for another four years so no we don’t cash in now and unless Wilf wants to leave right now, which not signing a new contract doesn’t mean unless you assume it does. The Everton bid is irrelevant to anything, including other clubs, seeing as they’ll be more serious than Everton.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle I thought Wilf loved Palace and the fans. Is he wanting to stay but holding the club to ransom over wage demands? Surely he understands the less we pay him the more we have for others and therefore the chance of competing further up the table? He needs to take a look at himself in the mirror and stop being contradictory.

Unless Parish or Zaha say something, or the club makes an announcement, we can't assume anything.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Actually I can see why a club with a surplus of players of PL standard would make such an offer. It is attractive to Palace as we always sell players with no replacements, so are always chasing the game. If someone offered 30 millions and 4 players for Zaha that could well be an answer.

Should we cash in now and if so, what % are we due to pay Man U?? Where have you seen that - I haven't read or seen anything about an actual bid for Zaha - let alone a derisory £35M from Everton. If he goes it won't be to Everton - why would he they're in our shooting range in terms of Premier League status. They've only just appointed Silva - who has no gravatis or pulling power as a Manager - went down with Hull after a thumping from us and then sacked by Watford. Zaha going to quit Palace for Silva and Everton - I don't think so - get real..!! COYP

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Why do some fans continue to question his love for the club ? Of course he loves our club, palace will always be wilfs home but aswell as being a fan, he's also a professional sportsman, whos own ambition should be playing at the very top. It doesn't matter how much we spend this summer or who we buy, we will not be competing with utd, city, arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham or Liverpool. As a player based in this country, representing one of them is playing at the top level. I'll be devastated the day zaha leaves, he's without a doubt our clubs greatest ever player, taking into account the success we've had and how far we've came since he walked into our team, which a huge amount is purely down to him. If Chelsea come in for him then I wouldn't begrudge him choosing to have a go at the highest level. After everything he has gave our club he deserves that freedom.
