Fixtures have fallen kindly for us before we start crowing about points tally so far. I would be surprised if we get more than 4 points from our remaining fixtures, which include the traditional top 6, Leicester, Everton and Villa. Shame we did not hang on to Banks and Woods and try a few different things with different players over the rest of the season. 4-4-2, hanging on for a clean sheet Royball is what we have in store, which is a huge pity. I would bet my house on it that we get more than 4 points from our remaining games.

If the other option is going all in on J-9 like Sunderland & Portsmouth, then sign me up for another season of me moaning about negative football while we very easily stay in PL looking like s***e. I'll repeat the sad fact from last week: Crystal Palace have accrued their joint-best tally of points in a Premier League season after 25 games (32 pts), matching their haul at this stage in 2015/16. Is there just two options then? Roy or his style of football forever, or the 3rd or 4th tier of football? Can we establish if it’s one of the other?

Awful game of football but we got what we wanted in our last 2 games. 4 points and stopped teams gaining on us. The only thing that matters this season is staying in the division or the new academy and stadium plans will go out the window and we will end up in the Vauxhall conference. I’m happy enough. 4 posts after it’s not even the 3rd or 4th tier. We’ll be in the football conference.

Would anybody pay for a season ticket to watch that? I still think it is a fluke we have got to 33 points - even Sheffield United pass the ball better than we do. The board will be rubbing their hands at another season in the premier league but there is a part of me hoping we go down to the championship next season if nothing changes - from a fan perspective, this is the only way to change the mentality at the club. Who wants to subject themselves to this borefest year in year out? I would rather watch non-league football at Bromley.

According to some you can watch non league football with us, the very minute we get rid of Roy. Apparently, we will immediately become Sunderland or Portsmouth. Only Roy can save us from that, allegedly.

Surely we should be commending Roy and the team for another master-class in defending. In my view, the weak link in our side is Eze who is consistently invisible in midfield and lacks the capacity, determination and imagination to feed our midfield. As a result, we are having to rely on Townsend and Ayew to do much of the midfield grafting. We are a different team with Schlupp and McArthur who provid energy and strength in midfield. Anyone know when they will be back?

I think I might prefer live in the National League than this. Again not a single shot on target as apparently Fulham made it 'too hatd'. If there were crowds the players would deservedly be booed off the pitch. We will crawl to safety and for some that is enough. I have supported this club for over 40 years and yes some of the play has been crap but at least we bloody tried. This lot are set up not to concede but in doing that we have a poor midfield and often no idea how to even take a shot. When we can all go back I reckon I might just give my hard earned to Bromley as at least I might see some football.
