Anyone else think Benteke may have got sent off on purpose ? I certainly do. The chap wouldn’t harm a fly and gets sent off for kicking a chap conveniently after the game. He wouldn’t want to risk injury with a transfer lined up. He won’t be seen in a Palace shirt again.

“ Our best 15 minutes what when Reideweld and Meyer were on the pitch.”

Last time out Riedeweld was disappointing and Meyer was worse. I would suggest that the turnaround was due to other factors. Meyer did nothing as usual and he is emphatically not the answer.; Unless the question is ‘Who is our most overhyped, overpaid player?’

Before you cite Burnley as your template for the mystical ‘next level’ remember that just a few games ago we were level on points with them. We could and should have beaten them when we played. They are not the ‘next level’, they are just another average team treading water. Unless a sugar daddy comes along, that is our level and there Is nothing that RH, SP, you or I can do about it. Survival is the name of the game and we’ve achieved that with games to spare. It’s back to being cannon fodder next season, for us, for Burnley, for all the other average clubs without money to burn. And again the objective will purely be survival. It’s pretty bleak when you really analyse it, but I’d rather be surviving in the premier league than anywhere else.

This.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Riedewald showed a lot more energy today when he came on than the rest of the midfield put together, Meyer was the usual Meyer. School kid thrown off the ball anytime he gets it.

We should have beaten them, but we are managed by a fraud.

We won’t be level with them at the end of the season.

Meyer came on with 3 minute to go against Chelsea. That’s when we were most threatening,

Reidewald was playing well against Leicester before being dragged off.

Are you advocating that we continue to play with 3 holding midfielders? If something repeatedly fails, why would anyone try the same thing again unless they are insane? Try reading less Kant and more Einstein.

Greyish would have got a penalty too.

The fact is, one of our holding midfielders gave away a sloppy free kick at the end of the first half. Botha Kouyate and McArthur hadn’t made a successful tackle up to that point, which begs the question, what did they contribute?

We went 1-0 down and then Woy decided to do a like for like defensive midfielder substitution. I’d love to ask him why he felt like that was the best decision?

Our best 15 minutes what when Reideweld and Meyer were on the pitch.

If he stared with a different line up and lost, he could have told his critics they they were wrong. But he tried the same tactics yet again, and we lost, to a team that are pretty s***.

Grealish stood on PvA's foot. It was clearly visible in the numerous replays whilst VAR was checking. He should have been booked for diving, as the outcome showed that no foul was committed.

Is it really necessary to mock someones speech impediment?

At least some of us get over defeats quickly. Perhaps survival is the name of the game

You might be right, but if it wasn’t for VAR he would have won a penalty as it wouldn’t have been reviewed. So we can’t claim that Woy was unfortunate to to have a goal ruled out by VAR as well.

If Grealish didn’t make a meal of it, VAR would have ruled in his favour. Much as I dislike diving, there was enough contact for him to lose his footing, so it’s not a foul. Our players are just as bad.

We’ve been fortunate with a VAR this season, big decision against West Ham and Arsenal have gone our way. Sakho’s goal being ruled out is not an excuse.

And stop being so Woke.

Why do you insist on saying Woy? Insulting and childish

"stop being so woke"?! WTF does that mean? You clearly think it's ok to mock the afflicted. It really does show you to have no class. Roy Hodgson is far more of a person than you could ever dream of being, yet you feel it is fine to mock him on the one thing that you have over him. How low can you get. Get a grip of yourself, you could not do what he does.
