Fully agree - have to stop myself replying to anything as it's all so predictable, and from the same set of usernames.

If you want a currently left leaning forum you have the bbs.

If you want a currently right leaning forum you have Hol.

If you want to argue with the left.....well, you have the bbs....until they ban you.

If you want to argue with the right.....you have the Hol.

Being liberal is an entirely positive attribute.

You don't judge people's politics because you personally find them creepy. Heath's manner was odd at times but he had his head screwed on politically.

I thought Thatcher was exceptionally creepy but she also had an admirable side to her character and was of her time. The problem today is that too many in the Tory Party think that her ideas remain relevant and heroine worship her legacy.

What?

The day Tony Blair, who the people voted for, was ousted, and Gordon Brown, who the people did not vote for, was ousted, was the death of the labour party.

Regardless of what people feel, Tony Blair won the election following Iraq.

His premiership was characterised by prosperity and social justice.

Just look at the UK now...

Yeah unemployment at levels not seen since the seventies with a far higher population and wages rising since Brexit was announced.

Higher growth rates than Germany or France or Italy....which are the nearest sized economies to us.
