Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

How much have we or are we ‘losing’ each year? It’s expected that the sales of AWB and possibly Wilf or both is planned to address several issues. Debts, squad balance, never making anything on Wilf which you could argue is worth making by selling him rather than him never leaving if he’s replaced and since his anonymous form this season. These are all traditional methods for a club of our size unfortunately. Hopefully we can decide more on when these things happen rather than have them decided for us.

According to the linked blog, we have lost £3.7 million over the last 6 years. Even if we loose another

IMHO the solution, at least to some degree, lies in making wise decisions around buying - mistakes like Benteke and Meyer (on 125k per week!!) - and having the courage to blood new players like Kirby sooner than later. Other clubs manage to buy relatively cheaply and do really well. How about Wolves and all those Portugese players? We need a more imaginative, bold approach from management and a better scouting crew. I KNOW we can stop the losses in these ways but does SP et al have the balls to do it?

Kirby has been on the bench most of the time for Blackpool.Only started in 2 out of his 7 games. He did start on Saturday at Luton and scored but he was withdrawn after 68 mins.

Wolves are part owned by Jorge Mendes a football super agent with access to many top European players, who just seem to turn up at his club.
