Politicians being dishonest was hardly the central thrust of the point I was making. Are you the HOL police, checking that people dont mention topics which in your mind are as obvious as bears and woods? I thought we had mods for such tasks, although checking that people point out obvious/accepted notions, when making a point, is hardly enshrined in HOL law last time I checked. Next time someone says that Wilf Zaha is very valuable to us, I will shut them down and accuse them of posting obvious things which go without saying, in your honour.
Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha. |

Well maybe if you had said it just the once... Are you suggesting that people should not be held to account for what they say? That seems suddenly out of character. Did you want the site all to yourself?

Did you want the site all to yourself? I lost count of the amount of times you have said that 'the people have been betrayed' on brexit. It is probably 200 - 300 times now. People in glass houses and all that, Hrolf. Challenging each other's right to free speech and therefore repeating their positions in new discussions on the same topic, is pretty pointless. Not sure where in my response to you I said that people should not be held accountable for what they say? Very ironic to put that statement on a thread about Trump. He is currently getting confused in a press conference with May. He was asked about Jeremy Corbyn and started talking about Sadiq Khan. Seems a bit confused.

As for Corbyn and Khan.....Well, have you ever seen them in the same place at the same time? Edited by Stirlingsays (04 Jun 2019 2.36pm)

Edited by Stirlingsays (04 Jun 2019 2.36pm) I can get sky news live on youtube - not sure if everyone can or if this is blocked in the UK. Another slow day at work so I popped it on this morning and lo and behold its Donny and Theresa giving a joint speech. I also havent seen Boris Johnson and Trump together yet, and believe the "spoke on the phone" story might be a ruse. Its the hair. Meanwhile Trump just said he has never met Michael Gove, except they did a long interview when he was first elected. Senility is setting in I think.

You are perfectly free to talk crap when ever you please but do expect some flack in return. Once again you use childish point scoring in relation to Trump which invites the suggestion that you have nothing of substance to contribute. If you must pursue these low brow forms of political trolling then it is inevitable that you will receive the standard response.

The Mayor of London desperate to be relevant when in reality he is a minor player and no one outside his immediate area gives a toss what he thinks. London is not the UK as NYC is not the USA. I object as a Londoner to the Mayor claiming to speak for Londoners, he should qualify by adding " some ", as is he is being very arrogant to assume the mantle of London's mouthpiece
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |
