I agree with this. Probably one of the better games Luka has played. He did very little wrong bar get that silly yellow. That silly yellow is the reason some fans don't want him.

Eze makes Wilf a different proposition. He goes past a man and thereby destabilises the opposition, especially weaker opposition. That ultimately gives us an opportunity to quickly work the ball to Wilf without him being so tightly marked. It was that way v Leeds and WBA. Clyne is coming along nicely. That's a strange thing to say for a player of his age, and with his CV, but it's true. He's decent on the ball. Edited by Ginger Pubic Wig (06 Dec 2020 9.20pm)

I'm also pleased with Clyne, great to see one of our youngsters back and doing well. He knows the club. Edited by adelaar (06 Dec 2020 9.27pm)

Edited by Ginger Pubic Wig (06 Dec 2020 9.20pm) Eze was also prevented three times when breaking on WBA with two in first half, I think we had five breaks in total today stopped with cynical fouls, Eze was fouled five times when breaking on Chelsea in our 4-0 defensive disaster, we had about seven in total in that game, this part of our game is always glossed over by fans on here and reporters which is a shame considering our attacking pace and when considering the goals we could've scored if the fouls weren't made.

Cabaye was even worse with tackles, he was extremely and hugely overrated in my book. My point was imo they complimented each other well and we looked solid with them there. Luka wins the ball gives it to Cabaye who could pass. Only my opinion of course

I love the way Eze plays always looking for the wall pass and Benteke makes the perfect wall. Going to happen soon he plays the ball to CBs feet on the edge of the box who cushions it perfectly back to Eze who smashes it in. Quality player

I think you'll find that WBA were probably the worst team ever trying to defend with ten men, they were absolutely shocking. You can only beat what is in front of you. In those situations in the past we have struggled. Today we took the game to them after the break and once we scored the second there was only going to be one winner.

Most teams just start panicking and lumping balls into the box playing against 10. We played some super football around their box and broke them down.
