What's funny is how much I was vilified for it. My point was, our team is basically rubbish, bordering on somewhat adequate in places. With less injuries we could certainly be somewhat better. Yeah but there's being pragmatic and putting up the "white flags" before a ball is even kicked..!! Two entirely different things..!! In any event I stand by what I said, team/squad is good enough at this level, its the tactics that are woefully lacking..!! COYP

They are trying to sell their product around the world and we are not helping their cause 100% agree. Embarrassment to the league. The last team to be this far gone in terms of anti football was ironically Brighton under Hughton towards the end before he got the sack. No such luck in our case. Parish and co don’t have the balls to replace Roy.

We were playing g our biggest rivals today at home. They have one if the worst defences in the league. If we had won we would have moved I to 6th and it would have been our best start in the premier league. Surely to God that was enough to say to the players, go out close them down high up the pitch and attack....

Playing this sort of football the nickname "Eagles" is inappropriate. I suggest "blue tits".
I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything. |

They don't have to and don't want to because we are a million miles away from being relegated under Roy, he is quite obviously leaving under his own steam possibly at end of this season and it will be the new managers job to make us more attractive to watch, nothing is going to change meanwhile.

So many people on here have a false idea of who we are and what we can realistically achieve. It’s disappointing to lose and not to play very well, but the moaning and the disrespect towards a fine manager is way over the top. Many Palace fans sound like those Charlton whingers who demanded Curbishley was sacked because they wanted someone else to take the club to another level. They’re certainly on another level now. Roy is a tactical master who knows how to keep relatively small clubs in the PL. He is not perfect but we have started the season well and are unlikely to go down. He has sacrificed one of the three DMs so we should see better football most of the time. I’m glad he’s our manager and think we will have a good season.

Come on peoples, we are on 7 points, 2 wins, one draw, two loses, including a win at manchester united, today was an off day against a well organised bha, Roy has kept us steady over his tenure and we could do a lot worse,(remember the fdb debacle). who wants the europa league nonsense, a sure way to get relegated next season. On the plus side, a relegation bottom of table battle keeps the season interesting right to the end, we should strengthen in January with a bid for shakiri, Liverpool want rid.

We were absolute total shit and can do nothing to change that, perhaps against Fulham we might be a little happier.
