Or a release clause that isn't acceptable. Either are more likely than a row about money per se (in my humble opinion of course). I just hope that it doesn't sidetrack His Lordship too much as we want him focussed on strengthening the team and not dealing with Wilf's annual contract negotiations

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle I get a sense that there's a large section of the fan base that just don't want to admit to themselves what is inevitable. Zaha will sign for a bigger club. It's going to happen and it's only a question of when. If we can have this season that would be a blessing.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle I'm just surprised West Ham haven't been linked. If the club do not want to sell him, where has the £70m price tag come from?

How about less melodrama and look at each case in isolation. Do you not think that the reason we offered Cabaye a lower wage is because there’s some funds to buy a midfielder or 2 and there’s no benefit from paying him so much we can’t do that. Clubs are interested in Townsend. And? Sako plays a couple of games every few years when his contract is up for renewal. And? RLC. Doubts because we don’t own him. That’s what’s going on there. Wilf? Who knows. Maybe he does plan on going in 12-24 months and doesn’t want to keep extending.

You may not concerned about these developments but certainly Roy believes we should be replacing both Cabye and Loftus- Cheek with quality .
