Opposing Murdoch ought, in my opinion, be the duty of everyone who wants a free and unfettered press available to all. It has nothing to do with any personal politics. If he supported Corbyn, the LibDems or anyone else I would feel exactly the same. Frankly I don't believe you.

You're conflating circulation and readership, for starters. And Murdoch doesn't have a monopoly on US and UK media. People have a choice to what they consume. But people who don't follow your narrative are just stupid, right? They just happened to be the figures I found which made the general point. Of course Murdoch doesn't have a monopoly! I didn't suggest he did. It was you though who were suggesting that because The Times is allegedly "Remain" and The Sun "Leave" this meant Murdoch was not showing bias. With such a disparity in the numbers who read each that claim doesn't stack up. If he switched both around for a few years I might agree with you.

Woody Johnson, a Trump appointee speaking just before his boss arrives in this country, is backing him up. What a surprise! That's his job. If he said something different he would soon be toast wouldn't he? It's just bs designed to convince the gullible that "no deal" is a good idea. Interfering in British politics in plain sight. I have met quite a few Trump supporters from the USA, both personally and online. Although usually polite and pleasant face to face their political naivety never ceases to surprise me. I have been forced to conclude there must be something seriously wrong with the US education system for so many not to know as much as they don't know. Of course some have very little personal experience of life beyond their own circle and then there are those who believe Trump has been sent by God. However, I do see similar traits in the group of Trump sycophants who populate this and the Brexit thread. The Americans have excuses. Those in the UK don't.

Firstly Johnson is worth north of 4 billion dollars & is owner of the NY Jets as well as owning Johnson & Johnson, So I doubt very much whether he'd suffer fools gladly If Trump stuck his nose into his business & therefore Trump steers clear & leaves him to do business his way. Plenty, pleeeeeenty of that sort in both countries. Not sure when a narcissistic pathological liar billionaire and an ex city trader and failed MP became the champions of the common man. Both are simply opportunistic xenophobic snake oil salesmen riding a nationalist wave. I hope Farage does become PM and presides over a no deal crash out of the EU, as I am sure that would go so well that people wouldn’t start to regret that setup almost immediately.
Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha. |

A simple question, yes or no. Did Obama say we would be at the back of the cue For a trade deal. Yes or no?

Ah the old "voters are stupid because they didn't vote the way I wanted them to". Now where have I heard that argument before?
