Why this obsession with passing backward? Ayew and Eze shocking today....

Because theres never anyone infront of it to pass to. Ask the dinosaur in charge. I hate that man. It amazes me how there doesnt seem to be massive unrest between management and players considering how the players have been turned into the most dire footballing side in the country in the last 2-3 years. They all seem to just go with it and say the same bollocks in interviews after every game which by the way is always what Hodgson has said in his interviews word for word.Injury this injury that, great defence blah blah. I think they might just be too dumb to think for themselves or just don't care. I'd like to think if one of us was in that team I'd be asking a lot of questions because it must be absolutely horrible playing in a setup like that.

He'd be wasted as part of a back 10.

In the true spirit ‘if you don’t concede, then you don’t lose’ ... I think it’s a good point. We have an ageing squad, riddled with injuries which has shipped buckets of goals at point. I’m happy we kept a clean sheet again ...

It’s back to basics atm and we’re defending well again. The other stuff will come in due course .,,

4 points + 2 clean sheets ... I’m happy with that!

Some of you need to give you head a wobble and calm down ...

My favorite play of the day was when Ayew got the ball out wide, with no defenders near him, and he dribbled it straight over the touchline.

Kouyate was terrible. He can't jump at all, and gave up at least 3 free headers in the box. No idea how one of those didn't end up in the back of the net.

Eze and Mateta may as well sit on the bench until we get a new manager.

Haha, yeah, but you could see how f***ed off with himself he was, because he knew that was the only half decent run he was going to get the whole game and he fluffed it.

We have to over-achieve a 70/30 chance to ever score. It's either a fluke, a defensive error or a stroke of genius. Too much pressure on the defense to avoid a mistake in 90 mins, and too much pressure on the strikers to finish the only chance they get, quite literally, every three or four weeks.

Let's presume that this brand of godawful negative s*** football keeps us up this season. Hands up who wants some more next season?

If the other option is going all in on J-9 like Sunderland & Portsmouth, then sign me up for another season of me moaning about negative football while we very easily stay in PL looking like s***e.

I'll repeat the sad fact from last week: Crystal Palace have accrued their joint-best tally of points in a Premier League season after 25 games (32 pts), matching their haul at this stage in 2015/16.

The person to whom you refer is vastly experienced both at club and International level and he has kept us in the PL season-on-season on a relative 'Pittance'.

I would never refer to Mr Hodgson as a "Dinosaur".A manager/coach does not last 45 years without the capacity to evolve.

Awful game of football but we got what we wanted in our last 2 games. 4 points and stopped teams gaining on us. The only thing that matters this season is staying in the division or the new academy and stadium plans will go out the window and we will end up in the Vauxhall conference.

I’m happy enough.

Impressive outfit Fulham, but like Brighton the end product was missing.

I enjoyed it, a hard-fought game noticeable how strong Fulham are defensively, not like a bottom three side at all.

They are a better team than the sides immediately above them imo.

Well said, boring as hell, but I'd rather it be in the Premiere League than the Championship.

I just don't get people who criticize Hodgson, who's kept us in this league for 4 years with a negative spend.

Of course its boring and dull, but look at the players we have, Burnley currently 3-0 to Spurs, Dyche wouldn't be any better.

Without Zaha we have no pace in this team at all, time for these so called American investors to do what they was brought in to do, Invest.

This, and I'll add that Roy is doing exactly what the boardroom wants; keep us off the relegation battle so we do not have to make panic buys in January. It's not pretty but it kinda works.

So 2 impressive outfits, 1 in the relegation zone and the other 3 points outside it. I think you may be missing the bigger picture.
