As usual after a decent run - it’s the hope that kills you. And today it flippin murdered us.

One of the biggest mysteries in life is that loud stupid people normally don't have even the slightest inclination that they are stupid. |

A masterclass in how to play football and score ... just wish it hadn't been us on the receiving end.

If your playing professional football in the Premier League and losing 0-7 at home, something is drastically wrong..!! Look this is the same Liverpool side that haven't been ripping up trees this year and both Burnley and Fulham (both in the bottom 3 at the time) gave a great account of themselves and run them close. Brighton also drew with them. Yet we get beaten 0-7 at Home - if you can't see something is drastically wrong and needs changing you are deluded..!! COYP It was a poor second-half performance, but even the commentators agreed at half-time that the players would be scratching their heads as to how it was 0-3. To take this game in isolation fine, but in the context of recent results it was unexpected. Did you also think we were poor against WBA, Spurs and West Ham? Fair enough if you did, but I don't think you'll find many agreeing with you. Like I said, you don't sack a manager after one game; especially one who has delivered one of the best starts to a PL season for his cub.

I actually thought we played well for large periods of the first half but the final ball or the wrong choice taken when in great positions. So Villa beat Liverpool 7-2. Liverpool put 7 past us. We may as well go beat Villa, which would sum up the premier league this season

We didn’t score when we had chances and that was the difference in the first half. Unfortunately, as you say, we didn't turn up at all in the second half.

The December schedule was always going to be tricky - a number of tough games in quick succession, too much for an ageing team to handle. RH needs to shuffle the pack a little; PVA is a ball watching liability and should be benched; Jimmy Mac is literally treading water at this late stage in his career and needs a rest. Our forward options are extremely limited, it says plenty when one is glad that Benteke is back for the next game.

I just love the supporters on here one result and its total meltdown, we defended badly but attacked well until there was no point sh*t happens we have same amount of points this time last year, but this year its more fun to watch, we needed Teke but 3-0 half time wasnt fair reflection of how well we played that half, hands up who was at the 9-0 how many times have liverpool thrashed us so get over yourselfs it was one result

First half scoreline yes, performance no. Second half was created by that scoreline, take it easy Willo ..don't let Liverpool upset you.
