I’m starting to turn, it’s so dull. I am a bit of the ‘careful what you wish for’ brigade but today was s***, dull, crap, boring, unimaginative and a bit embarrassing. We have to be the worst watch in the league, such dour negative football and yet we have some of the most creative forwards.

Look - I admit I was one of those Roy "be careful what you wish" for supporters..!!

But after today enough is enough - IMO all good things come to an end and I now think we have reached that point.

After the Man U game, I must admit I thought - yeah OK things are progressing..!!

But then after Chelsea where we didn't even give it a go and then again today which was arguably even worse..!!

As I said enough is enough and Roy's "Dire Ball" tactics just ain't good enough and/or acceptable - time to go..!!

We have the talent in the squad but Roy's tactics just don't allow them to express their talent.

We were screaming out today for someone to link attack and defence, but Eze was left on the bench.

The one time we did do Jario put Batsman through and he buried it - but just offside. But that was only once in the whole game.

Just not good enough and that ain't the players it's management and tactics.

I saw SP sitting in the stands, he must have been thinking "what the hell" - I know I would was..!!

Time has come - thanks Roy but it's time to bring in someone that can move us on take us away from "Dire Ball" and allow the squad to show/fulfil it's undoubted talent..!!

One other point showed today that time to give Mitchell a rest and that Ward's time is also run - bring on both PVA and Clyne..!!

At least we didn't lose, but in fairness if I were a Brighton fan I'd be spitting feathers..!!

Come on SP time to act - Dyche or Howe for me..!!

COYP

Had to pop on for the first time in a few years to check current opinion. This nails it for me. Roy will keep us up every year, which is admittedly better than the previous managers who could only do it once. However in our 8th season we surely need to be pushing on. At least have a go. So anyone dynamic please, we have decent enough players.

I also can't understand why Luka, who is surely our most important player, isn't playing, but I imagine you've covered that elsewhere!

You'll be forever in my family's memories and it was an honor and privilege to play and lead in the red and blue
Yours sincerely
Mile Jedinak

Exactly class footballer who can actually pass the ball. Roy to get us safe by NY in comes Howe, you heard it here first!

Could well be.

They presumably don'd count the Batshuayi effort because he was cms offside.

..from being placed about sixth in the table tonight, very easy to push aside and forget.

So on that basis you believe we are playing to the height of our talents. Doesn’t bode well does it?

why do you always claim to know what another poster is actually meaning. brighton have spent 109 million and couldn't beat a team playing as badly as we did today. brighton are not a very good team considering the cash they have spent.

i am not beating myself up as i've seen worse displays watching palace over the years. people need to chill out a bit.

So have I, but not with a team as talented as this one. I think people forget this is the costliest assembled group of players we have ever put onto a football pitch. You wouldn’t believe it after some of our displays and as for today’s match, we were very lucky to get a draw.

I agree it was a poor performance but it was still nearly 3 points. Like it or not Roy does get results, even if we end up being a counter-attacking side with low possession. He will keep us in the Premier League and for me that's what matters. What needs to happen for us to progress is new ownership with real money, so we can invest in the club on all fronts. That's the priority for me and then we can seriously aspire to better things. Until then I think Roy remains a good choice.

nearly 3 points from a dubious penalty... at home(if that even counts anymore), against our rivals - c'mon no one should accept that, especially when we have 3 20 mil players on the bench...

If we continue this ultra passive approach we will definitely go down

Sitting back and waiting for yhe inevitable to happen. That two games running with barely a shot in anger is pathetic and add that to recent defeats at Liverpool Leicester Villa and Wolves with the same approach and you have a recipe for relegation

One thing for sure unless we change our defend defend and defend again we are relying on 3 worst teams or we are going down. Yesterday was embarrassing or do brighton have a much better squad ?
