Because the Democrats have tried to block him at every stage it's a bit rich complaining that Trump hasn't built it.

Trump has a point, Mexico is not doing enough to halt illegal immigration and the flow of guns and drugs. This has gone on for many decades the US has the right to defend it's borders and to expect it's neighbours to likewise. Imposing tariffs may not be the best solution but talking hasn't achieved much and I don't mean Trump insulting them look at the previous administrations.

I don't think Trump expects Mexico to solve it tomorrow but he is expecting them to show willing.

Hmmmm.

So what happened for the first 2 years of Trump's presidency when republicans controlled ALL branches of government?

.....

Crickets, Badger.

It wasnt democrats not ponying up money for this BS vanity project, it was Paul Ryan.

[Link]

So before buying into the partisan narrative of Trump, understand that the GOP was in power in all branches of government for the first 2 years of Trump's reign.

John McCain blocked his BS health bill to destroy the ACA, and Paul Ryan saw to it that billions weren't wasted on a shiny wall. Those are Republicans.

They do show willing. Mexico has been engaged in a long standing war against the drug cartels for decades. Clearly there is corruption in the country but starting a trade war is not a silver bullet. Trade wars are never good.

Its an idea a 5 year old would have.

Trump's tariffs are paid for by the American people. This hurts poor Americans.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

It reminds me of the time when Obama implemented DACA, despite lacking the constitutional and legal authority to do so. (And people wonder why there is so many unaccompanied minors on the southern border). [Link]

Democrats dont support the first amendment? First I heard of it.

Re guns, stronger gun controls are supported by the majority of people.

Only the NRA, with their immense lobbying power over the GOP, keep the children of America at risk of murder by assault weapon in their schools.

Free speech safe with Democrats?

As for gun laws.

I can see stricter gun laws in heavily blue democratic states but the consensus is nothing like what it would need to be for republican states.....that's what the stats show.

Even though I agree with stricter gun laws I don't agree with imposing them on populations who disagree with me.

You obviously know more about American politics than I do but a quick google of Trump Mexican Wall timeline shows that there was plenty going on from when he took over in Jan 2017. Lots of articles from people who hate Trump detailing what he was doing (and why it was wrong).

I agree that trade wars are not a good ideas but what would you suggest he do? Previously US administrations have tried talking giving money etc. I know its not easy as it's a corrupt country, and Mexico is even worse, (joke). At some point Mexican has to acknowledge that this is an issue that is upsetting its biggest trade partner.

Ted Lieu doesn’t speak for the entire democratic caucus, though he probably wishes he does.

Federal laws are necessary concerning background checks and access to military style assault weapons.

I think you must be in denial with not recognising the left's hyper attack on free speech.....when I was a lad it use to come from the religious right but now it's pretty much exclusively from the left.

From 'progressive' democrat supporting social media platforms all based in commiforia...silencing and demonetizing conservative voices. To the far left universities in the US pumping out activists pushing for safe spaces and de-platforming speakers.

Maybe this unwillingness to recognize this is similar to your unwillingness to recognize the anti white and especially anti normal non soy male problem you have in the Democrats where it has an almost obsessional hierarchy of protected classes based upon how much victimhood someone can claim.

While I'm not having a go at you for this I think it's quite a problem for Democrats who aren't built in those modes.

Obstruction of justice in plain sight, this idiot even recorded it via a voicemail message.

Trump must be impeached on obstruction charges, and if he loses in 2020, he should be criminally prosecuted.
