Yes we are, I've felt for quite a long time now that he's very slowly improving and the way the club are bringing him on is absolutely perfect ..he has all the games left now to ease himself onto the scoresheet with the knowledge that if he misses it won't be too painful in regards to the clubs survival in the best league in the world.
Keep it up Mr benteke you can do it.

This is now a time to shine for Tekkers, deserves a break and with no pressure for points we may see him at his best, let's hope so eh.

A very assured performance by Tekkers yesterday. His ball control and layoffs (including his part in creating the goal) were excellent. And, I think we all enjoyed his duet with Jordan down at the corner flag at the end.

If only that his bicycle kick had gone in!

Really starting to think he might come good. He seems to be charging about a lot more and his link up play has been quality last few games.
I still think he is a bit apprehensive to get in the mixer because he doesn't want to put himself in a position where he might miss a chance he should score. Just need one of them to go in and that should change.
Appreciate if he does come good we've been bloody patient but look at Ayew, bang average last year and now he's odds on to win the ballon d'or and puskas goal of the century award.

The scissor kick attempt by Benteke was only about 15'' away from competing well with Ayew's class.
