The EU have found an excuse to practice for a no-deal or demonstrate what it would be like. Speaking to someone else this morning, the lodgistics industry have been preparing for no-deal disruption for months, filling every inch of space they can in warehouses of non-perishable goods. He think's they are good for 6 weeks. I agree

EU's €750bn could have helped Britain with Covid, says French commissioner! I should say so, nothing but unemployment, shortages and price rises for the UK, ruinous borrowing to finance Rishi's useless handouts and tory millions for their pals. Should have chosen Jeremy Corbyn, the 'marxist'. We are the 'sick man of europe' again.

When they announced that fund one of the papers stated if we were still in the EU we would have been the second biggest funder behind Germany. So no I'm not bothered about their financial help which would have cost us more that we put in. As for the competence of this government it's a valid point probably better to address on another thread but for now I will say what I always do. We can change the government if we don't like the policies, not so easy to do in the EU. Edited by Badger11 (21 Dec 2020 5.18pm)

As for handouts from the EU, I'd rather not pay them in the fist place. Take out one stage of EU civil servants siphoning tax payers money, before we see it again. European leaders have now got to face the prospect of hundreds of its lorry drivers being stranded in the UK over Christmas. It's not a scenario they will want to repeat.

Trump is the most corrupt president in the history of the country. Not even Nixon tried to withhold foreign aid in return for hores*** investigations into his political rivals. He refused to condemn such despot tyrants as MBS, Putin and little rocket man, but goes after Macron and May like there is no tomorrow. He green lighted Turkey to invade Syria and slaughter the Kurds who had aligned themselves with the US. He has given top government jobs to his crooked children, totally unprecedented in modern history. He has surrounded himself with such crooks, liars, thieves and criminals as Roger Stone, Michael Cohen, Mike Flynn, Rudy and his cronies, Manafort, Rick Gates, Papadopoulos, and that is just to name a few of the crooks FOUND GUILTY. Instead of draining the swamp, he muddied the waters further, the tit. He has improperly funneled government business towards his personal business empire and hotels, and will go down for that one on State charges, along with Ivanka. He has clearly fiddled his taxes and is the first president ever to not show his tax returns. He has downplayed the seriousness of Covid so much that he is personally responsible for thousands of lives. He has sought to utterly undermine election and democratic integrity simply because he lost. He repeatedly obstructed justice and tampered with witnesses during the Mueller investigation. He attempted to get Jim Comey to "forget about" Mike Flynn. It goes on and on and on. Please explain how Biden is more corrupt that that, in 40 years of politics, versus Trump's 4.

Well Biden did, he's recorded saying that unless a Ukrainian prosecutor, who happened to be looking into his family's business dealings, was fired he would withhold their funding by talking to Obama. He refused to condemn such despot tyrants as MBS, Putin and little rocket man, but goes after Macron and May like there is no tomorrow. That's a falsehood, I heard Trump criticise all of them during his presidency. He placed sanctions on all of them. As for May and Macron, they are s***e cucks and fully deserving of criticism. He green lighted Turkey to invade Syria and slaughter the Kurds who had aligned themselves with the US. He didn't 'green light' it, however I agree that I regarded this as dishonourable.....that said, I don't think those that fought with the Americans were attacked....but I may be wrong. Originally posted by Maine Eagle
He has given top government jobs to his crooked children, totally unprecedented in modern history. How are his children crooked? Biden has used his children to make money during his presidency so obviously that didn't bother you one bit. Originally posted by Maine Eagle

But Trump made plenty of poor appointments that's for sure. Originally posted by Maine Eagle
He has improperly funneled government business towards his personal business empire and hotels, and will go down for that one on State charges, along with Ivanka. I suspect that isn't illegal but is instead Democratic propaganda. I also suspect that the courts will see that in his favour. Originally posted by Maine Eagle
He has clearly fiddled his taxes and is the first president ever to not show his tax returns. All successful businessmen fiddle their taxes and it's the job of the government to close the loop holes. I don't give a damn about his tax returns, he wasn't required to show them. Originally posted by Maine Eagle
He has downplayed the seriousness of Covid so much that he is personally responsible for thousands of lives. I fully disagree. Originally posted by Maine Eagle
He has sought to utterly undermine election and democratic integrity simply because he lost. I regard mail in voting/vote harvesting to be very suspicious and Trump is right to challenge it....Al Gore didn't concede until 37 days after his election and no Democrat complained about it. Originally posted by Maine Eagle
He repeatedly obstructed justice and tampered with witnesses during the Mueller investigation. Trump was dealing with an investigation looking to frame him. He did nothing illegal and your Democrats spent tens of millions on a giant set of lies and nothing-burgers. Originally posted by Maine Eagle
He attempted to get Jim Comey to "forget about" Mike Flynn. And quite rightly as the courts later showed. Flynn should never have been persecuted in the first place as it was pure political opportunism. Originally posted by Maine Eagle
It goes on and on and on. Please explain how Biden is more corrupt that that, in 40 years of politics, versus Trump's 4. Your TDS goes on yeah. During the Obama presidency Joe Biden spent years enriching himself through family connections with foreign governments and corporations. His son Hunter and brother Jim secured millions of dollars in foreign money, especially from Ukraine, Russia, and China. The Democratic media and governmental institutions meddled in the election by keeping this quiet and lying about misinformation. Your saviour is as corrupt as they come. He's also not someone I'd leave around children. He's lied since the start and I watched him lie all through the debates.
