I think Lampard is the only one likely to convince Wilf to stay and someone who could get his juices flowing again

Our most successful manager. No resources. 'we have massively over-achieved'. They didn't ball-watch under Tony Pulis. Organised defence is the only way, ask RH.

If we end up with one of the managers we’ve been linked with then I think people are going to be in for a big shock, as none of them are very good on paper. The only one that could be a good appointment is Ismaël, although it seems that’s not going to happen. Frank Lampard has not proven himself as a Premier League manager, even whilst working on an infinite budget. Eddie Howe worked with a club who spent far more than us and sent them down. Sean Dyche... well just no.

We are a stable club in the most elite sporting completion in the world. There's more decent managers than jobs available and the candidates will be climbing over each other to have a crack at this one. It's a fantastic opportunity. Hopefully, it will be someone that doesn't settle for mediocrity and will have an interest in getting the best out of ever aspect of the club including training, development and recruitment. We need to move on from sticking 10 men behind the ball knowing that will result in us knicking enough points to survive. That approach now below the bare minium requirement. Sports about being the best you can be, not about simply trying to avoid failure. You have nothing to say that could possibly be of interest to me. So "I'm out".
Jackson.. Wan Bissaka.... Sansom.. Nicholas.. Cannon.. Guehi.... Zaha... Thomas.. Byrne... Holton.. Rogers.. that should do it.. |

Yes odds move through weight of money but it is through news reports and speculation triggering an influx of bets, not a single 'in the know' person.

Plenty of people slagging Lampard off, but very easily to conveniently forget that in his 1st season at Chelsea he unexpectedly got them qualified for the Champions League (which is why they are in the Final now), without spending a single penny!!
