Always got something different to say haven't you, it's a 15million option to buy at the end of the 18 months and a commitment after he makes a certain number of starts. If you are telling me he won't make those starts across 18 months then you're having a nightmare

Sorry to disagree but Benteke is just not good enough for this league, he lacks pace vision and anticipation, on Saturday he spent a large part of the game just jogging around in the centre of the pitch keeping as far as way from any physical contact as possible, he fails to press opposition off the ball or to create space for others using his physical presence when we are attacking, he has no vision on where the ball may end when it come in to the box and instead is static waiting for the ball to come to him, he states are appalling 25 appearance with an average of 0.28 goals per game and one assist out of all those appearances. We surely do not want another season paying his reported 120K/per week or 6.240MIL per year + add ons. No wonder Klopp off loaded him and now we need to do the same!

I think his last few goals for us have pretty much come from the only cross of the game .. why not jog around if you know there is zero service .. the guy is pretty much a one trick poney .. he can head a ball .. so fffs Roy play wingers where they are supposed to play like Wilf on the right , Schupp or Townsend on the left with Eze behind Tekkers and Ayew up front ... 3-4-1-2

Benteke has a lean frame and a small waist.He might not be carrying 85KG.I would not be surprised if Batshuayi was heavier and perhaps not too much weight differential between Benteke and Ayew.

We know he's a one trick pony. He's very good at that trick. Neutrals I know that watch us can't believe we why we don't just play route one to him (or at least try it a bit more frequently).

Benteke is a big lad, he must weigh about 85kg even when lean. That's around 10kg/2Stone extra he's got to carry around compared to an average player over 90minutes. He's never going to match Ayew's work rate, he's simply not built for it.

Take a comparison to professional rugby. Even if elite front row players are fit as a fiddle, they never play the whole game. Better use of subs needs to be adopted. You wouldn't expect your second row to match the back rows movement either. Modern thinkers in sport have accepted this for some time now.
