Everyone slating the centre mids...especially Luka...need to chill. You don't get to attack the way we attacked today without a solid foundation in the middle. Watch closely and you'll see just how often Luka wins the ball back for us. Sticking a foot in here, intercepting a pass there...I thought he did pretty well for first game back for a while.

Agree, that late tackle was pretty reckless though.

I come away from this match very, very worried.

And this worry is Wilfried Zaha - he has showed his class this season and if Arsenal do decide they need to add his undoubted 'game changing' qualities we risk losing him in January.

For whatever reason we are a one man team and he is that man, so in the tough upcoming matches in December
let's hope he continues his great form and leave us in a comfortable position for the new year.

If he does go I am not very sure that Mr Hodgson, for all his 'top quality squad' (his words) will be able to compensate.

You do realise we receive money for Zaha don't you, he won't be allowed to just leave and leave us without a replacement.

It was a pretty even game up until the red card. Second half we attacked the game. Many a time we have huffed and puffed in the past and not been able to break down a defence. Today we were excellent in the second half. Eze was superb and made the most of the extra space. More of this please.
We also were clinical. What a difference it makes when you convert those chances! A thumbs up from me today.

Eze was class today lacks pace but could be our playmaker for years to come

IMO he has not been the same since Cabaye left

Cabaye was even worse with tackles, he was extremely and hugely overrated in my book.

I think you'll find that WBA were probably the worst team ever trying to defend with ten men, they were absolutely shocking.

It’s all about opinions, I think he was referring to the defending, thought he was fair to Palace and doesn’t he just love Wilf!

He was referring yes to WBA defending, if you give any team that much time to walk about and pass without any sort of pressing you are in trouble, I couldn't believe that Arsenal today allowed Son and kane all the space they wanted to run into any area they liked without a care in the world, if they had they could've got a 0-0

Mili is just a liability now so should never see the pitch again.
Macca unfortunately has had his birth certificate catch up to him. I thought he was very good against Newcastle but he's really a 1 in 3 player now.
I think he still has good value as a late sub but shouldn't start games anymore (or at least starting every game) and definitely can't go a full 90 minutes. IMHO.

Very correct with both.

Sky put up an interesting stat today after Furlong's OG that, apart from Spurs, we'd scored more goals in the first fifteen minutes than any other team which seems to belie the oft stated opinion that we can't start on the front foot.
