Leeds are missing the defensive 'Shield' provided by Kalvin Phillips. He was missing against Leicester last week and again yesterday and Leeds conceded 8 goals in those two matches.

True, but they did also concede three against Fulham and 4 at Liverpool. It'll be interesting to see what they do in the next few games against tough opposition. They're a young team so it will be all about how they respond to three straight defeats.

Absolutely no forward movement again, can't string three passes together without giving it away over and over again and long balls constantly from the defence because there's no midfield again. Same old s*** to me. Sorry.

This is in some ways quite right, the only difference being us looking dire because we did not, we played to our strengths and were clinical for a change when presented good chances mainly because Leeds were not solid in their defending as a team at all, both teams gave the ball away unnecessarily and made about the same amount of silly mistakes, Leeds even had a great Freekick where the ball wasn't too far off, this game could easily have finished 6-4 so we deserved to win this without any doubt especially the longer the game went on.

Many of the fans who dislike Roy are I feel unaware of how good our squad is because they seem to me to think we should be having these results and performances every time we venture onto the pitch without understanding the weaknesses we have when coming up against the likes of a well organised and efficient Chelsea on a good day ...hence the way we appear when up against these sides in form, Mr Hodgson is doing the most brilliant job with the personnel he has to work with and with positiveness it is going to improve with our new additions, we are going in the right direction so we need no negativity from the Roy dislikers.

If they slow down in creating opportunities then they will struggle, so far they seem good enough for survival because quite a few teams down there look hideous lol

Luckily for us I suppose, it is already looking as though something will have to go terribly wrong for any team, not currently in the bottom 4/5, to end up in a dogfight with them.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Burnley are looking as dire as Sheff.U and West Brom along with Fulham who look clueless when presented with any opportunity to get into someone's box, Burnley did the same last season and looked out of sorts for periods of it, we will see how good they are in the next game ..hopefully the same and not.

Dyche and the Burnley board were at odds last season, and it seems to be affecting them this season, decent draw for them at Brighton but I fancy us for a win, we seem to do better at their place too.

Parish has tweeted how much he enjoyed the game and how he found the Leeds approach so refreshing.
It’s unclear as to whether this is because the refreshing approach led to the 4-1 was in our favour, or whether he just likes attacking football.

He enjoyed the way Leeds defended more like.

Until last seasons 0-1 loss to them we'd won four on the trot scoring eight and conceding one, last time we played them at Turf Moor we won 2-0 and the time before we won 3-1, go back any further and they weren't quite so pleasant to us for three games in a row lol

True but we must remember that last season Southampton were an absolute mess up until around mid November and were in the relegation zone until Matchday 17. They improved dramatically in the second half of the season and finished an extremely respectable 11th in the end. The sooner we get to 40 points the better

Roy, you don't have to keep posting to convince us of what a great job you are doing.

I was going to say the same thing. Well done Roy for picking and setting up the team for each game to give us the best chance of a result.

I also agree with an earlier poster who said we look so much more balanced as a team with more attacking full backs.
