What should have been done if for some reason the reporting restrictions were valid.....and I remain to be convinced. What should have happened was Robinson should have been moved on.

Not arrested and imprisoned where his life is in danger. It's a joke and what is very apparent from the left is that they hate this man (which is ridiculous) They have zero objectivity. No one else has been arrested despite having reported....being outside the court is a weak excuse. It's not in the court where he could have been seen by jurors.

I'll state it again, because it annoys me. This guy was shouting about these rapes years ago when left wingers were downplaying and denying the problem.

If people had listened to Robinson far less girls would have been raped. Yet the state prosecute him.

I think it's fairly obvious to all but the blind that Robinson is being singled out for special treatment. It's hardly a revelation in our brave new world.
One day soon, people might be knocking on our door for writing stuff like this.

It has crossed my mind.

There seems to be a clear split on this board which mirrors the views of people I have also spoken to.

1. Some people (me included) believe this is a simple case of ignoring a high court injunction and that who the defendants were and what they were accused of is irrelevant. That Tommy Robinson was foolish because he couldn't wait a few more days until restrictions are lifted before doing his live stream blog.

2. Others seem to think this is about freedom of speech, double standards and persecution of an individual. I have some sympathy for this view (not for Tommy Robinson) There have been shameful cover ups by politicians and the media has kept quiet for fear of upsetting "the community". That has now changed and these cases are now getting publicity so for me point 1 still trumps point 2.

Anyway I can see this argument is going round in circles and I doubt I will convince anyone I am right and vice versa.

Lads, it’s nearly the weekend. Take those tin hats off and enjoy yourself for 48 hours. Maybe even treat yourself and venture outdoors.

Tommy stands for :
Freedom of speech
Democracy
The rights of young girls
Justice for rapists
The necessity of 'integration & assimilation' over the separatist ghetto mentality.
Non-violence.
The accountability of politicians , journalists, the judiciary.

He has supporters of all colours and creeds.

Hardly extreme right wing , now is he ?

The far right don't like him anyway as he's pro Israel.

Why was he so quiet and slow to point the blame at religion, race and culture when Yewtree was going on, or when the cases about politicians in Westminster using foster homes as grooming centres in the 80s came out, but when its Islamic groups he doesn't hesitate to tar a whole culture?

A bastion of intelligence... [Link]

This could be said about anyone. Why didn't Corbyn?

Also, how do you know he hasn't said anything about this? Are you going to tell me he hasn't talked about this?

He is anti Islam in the country. That is his main concern. I don't agree with all his views on it but his push and activism against radical Islam and the appleasement of the British state has the support of many people.

Still, the other side always has you to mention Yewtree and patchy evidence about Westminister politicians to somehow in your head discredit him.

I think the biggest frustration in all this is that when genuine injustices are carried out in our courts - the fast tracking and political pressure of the sentences after the riots, or the number of young black men convicted on technicalities because they can’t afford decent solicitors, there is near total silence on here.

One white man gets done on an actual law and all of a sudden there’s a witch hunt and an infringement on civil liberties? Gimme a break.

What case about a black man, convicted on a technicality, have you highlighted on Hol then?
